Victory Baptist is a family focused Baptist Church. We see in Scripture that God gives family descriptions of rolls and responcibilities that are hardwaired into the soul of mankind. The Scriptures teach how to be a successful and godly father or mother. The Scriptures teach how to be an honorable wife or husband. The Scriptures teach us how to be children that bring our parents joy and happiness, not shame and regret. Life is about the relationship with the Heavenly Father and the relationaship with mankind. Our relationships with mankind start in the home. If we can learn to participate in making a godly home, many of the world’s problems will pass us by. We believe the rolls of Mother, Father, Wife, Husband, Child, or Sibiling do not deminish the individual or make them less than another as a human being; it is our living and excelling in these rolls, that shows our love and respect to the one that made us and placed us in the role.

We believe that marriage was created by God in the beginning as one man and one woman. We believe that any form of homosexuality; lesbianism, bisexuality, incest, fornication, adultery, and pornography are sinful perversions of God’s gift of sex to the marriage union. (Genesis 2:24; Genesis 19:5,13; Genesis 26:8-9; Leviticus 18:1-30; Romans 1:26-29; I Corinthians 5:1, 6:9; I Thessalonians 4:1-8; Hebrews 13:4)

Matthew 19:5-6 “And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh? Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.”
