Victory Baptist is a KJV Preaching and Teaching Baptist Church. We believe that God did not speak to the Prophets of old in any other language but their own. Prior to the earthly ministry of Jesus our Lord, the God of Creation spoke to his “Called and Chosen” people the decendents of Abraham, Issac, and Jacob. These Children of Israel spoke one language the Hebrew-Aramaic language learned through their heritage. It is this language that the original revelation of God was delivered that we call the Old Testament. This Testament, cannonized by the Council of prophets called together by Erza and Nehmiah in 460 to 450BC (Anshei K'nesset HaGedolah); was named the Tanakh. It is this Hebrew text that was used to translate the orginal 1611 King James Bible, and to this day it is the only English Bible that stays true to these orginal texts, that has stood the test of time (over 400 years).
